Smile 15K mi. service of 2004 GS300

Hi guys, I'm new to the Club and I have questions, please help.
I have a 2004 GS300, my 15K service is coming up and I don't want to bring it in to the Lexus dealer because it could cost alot, some or most of the things they will tell me I might not need. So my question is what type of replacements do I need to do?. I also will be using Mobil 1 synthetic oil & filter, is this a good idea @ 15K mi.? Thanks in advance guys.

do what your owner's manual says...no more...but go to Lexus...it won't cost you that much more if it even is more and if you ever need a goodwill repair for something not covered under warranty in the future you will have a relationship established

PS the service experience is half the reason for owning a Lexus otherwise you might consider an Avalon or Camry next time

First let me say WELCOME to the site. Yes MOBIL 1 is a good choice Buying a LEXUS isn't cheap but enjoy your car and do it right and it will last you a long time if done right

man, only 15k? you gotta drive your car more

where in cali are you in, socal or norcal?

anyway, at 15, oil change is probably what i would do. but it's been 5 yrs for your car i guess, maybe it's time to jst flush the tranny, the differential, and bleed the brakes. change the ac filter as well i say
