very true, and it's in fact pretty scary when you pull from 80 to 120+. its so fast, and it's so effortless.... with how quiet the car is, you don't even know you are doing over 100

We bought the GS 430 to replace the Solara because we have a baby on the way. Hopefully the Solara will be sold soon. I did not get an extended warranty. I still have the factory warranty until the end of May. I am still undecided about getting the extended warranty. I noticed a strange front end vibration yesterday. I accelerated hard from 20 to 70 and let off the accelerator. I then pushed down on the brakes slowly coming up to a stop light. The front end vibrated very violently. I don't know if it was the weight shift from letting off the accelerator and then waiting a few seconds before putting on the brakes. The car drove fine when I left the light.

either your rotors are warped or, had the car been sitting for a little while? could have been flat spots on tires. I have jumped in my car and freaked out a time or two from flat spot caused vibration that went away after driving a few miles.

BTW-when I bought my GS with 21k miles it had warped rotors. dealer turned them via warranty and problem is gone

if you only get the vrbration when you brake, that means your front rotors are warpped. get it checked and see if you can still surface them. see if you need new pads as well
