Question

Have built in phone and handsfree set on steering wheel, is there a kit that I can put in to change from the factory phone to a startac and still have use of the handsfree speaker phone of the lexus?

Good question. I have the same setup and here's what I know: The phone is analog and I do not believe there is a way to get a converter to run a different phone as well as digital. Looks like we will have to use the same phone that's analog only. So until this question is answered the system sits idle and I use my Sprint PCS. I sure would like to know some answers.

fever,
BMW makes a kit for the startac. I am going to see if it is applicable. Already asked Sprint, and I can't have the same # on 2 phones or I would do that. It costs $10 a month to have a second phone on your existing plan. but like you said the lexus is analog only. then you would have to forward all your calls to the lexus phone from your cell phone every damn time you got in and out of the car. i just want to be able to plug in the startac in the console and be done with it.
