Any issues with using belt sander to shave fender?

I must just BARELY be clearing now....I don't see any scrape marks on the tires (yet), but I just tire-shined them last night and I found tire shine on the edge of the fender lip !!!

well hard to say, the shine can got spinned off the wheel.

try to put clay on the edge of the wheel and then bounce on the trunk and see if the clay got affected

Yep. Definitely test the clearance. Load/compress the suspention to see how close it is.
