06 GS shift knob on 2nd gen GS?

06 GS shift **** on 2nd gen GS?
I was sitting in a few 06 GSes at dealer today while waiting for warranty work and I noticed the shifter **** in the cashmere interior(formerly known as ivory) looked to be the same colors as the one in my 01 GS w/ivory interior.(grey leather and wood). the rounder, fatter shift **** felt and looked kinda cool.
I wonder if it would screw on and match well.
this is the only pic I could find of that color ****. what do you think? if anyone has a closer, or better pic, please post it.

the hell with the shift ****.....I wonder if the steering wheel will fit our gs.
