no way. ups from cally to east coast is 5 days max...call up, pay for faster delivery see what they say. most likely they are doing a middle job where they sell it to you but place an order through rmm itself to send it to you than they blame rmm when they can't deliver on time...

You're right blue, it is likely an arrangement something like that. Carson, lextasy and RMM are all within an hour of each other. Not anything neccessarily wrong with this, I mean even Steve at Carson will get RMM parts down the road from RMM, then turn around and sell to you for less.

Come to think of it, Tood at TM is in the neighborhood as well.

Bottom line if this is a genuine RMM part then it all comes from the same source. It's just a matter of who will resell to you for less.

Oh TLW, verify if the rear piece is fiberglass or poly.

Can't make a knock off out of poly.

He organized the group buy on "01" tail lights on CL and I bought mine through him back then. Since then he's been banned on CL for numerous reasons. He got laid off from his job and has been doing lextasy ever since. I'm surprised he's surviving, but who knows if this is his only source of income.
geez, what website did this guy start off with? Sounds like a class act

but that's just my .02 cents.

If the demand is there for ROD MILLEN can't we talk some sense into them for a group buy direct? They will sell a lot of product?

That ain't the way they run the business. They typically charge retail and let their retailers discount the product. If you want a group buy, you'll need to convince Steve at Carson or Todd at TM. RMM is more of a distributor operation. They don't even have a store front with a ton of parts on display. They let their dealers do that work .

I got the RMM skirts for my wifes IS through Steve @ Carson. Much better pricing.

If you want deals on RMM products, try not to buy directly from them.

The only thing I ever bought directly from RMM was their GS.

I'd def. shoot Steve a PM and ask him if Lextasy is Legit with their pricing and availability.

Those two Steve's go wayyyyy back.

I'm sure he'll enlighten you with information.

your right on both fronts G.. i had mentioned to J yesterday that if the rear was poly it has to be real if its FG than its a fake, probably an explosion copy.

2nd , theres nothing wrong with how they do it if they are playing the middle man and never really seeing the product , a lot of companies do it this way. i ordered my kit from intensepower who got me a better price on the RMM kit than Steve at the time and they did the same, took my order and placed theres with RMM, than RMM shipped directly to me..the key to me is that you make sure that who ever they are getting it from "say RMM" really has it stock and if they do than steve should be able to get his hands on it for you..
