I'm new to this forum so pardon the dumb question. My father is buying a GS400 in the near future, probably a '99 or 2000 model. What are some simple, inexpensive mods that might make a good gift?

I was thinking about maybe a FSTB but am open to suggestions.

TRD STB for 200ish dollars from Steve, Carson Toyota. Or L-Tuned ECU for less than $150. Or some front grill, TRD, RMM, L-Sportline, and etc.

 

TRD FSTB- if your dad prefer less install time

Steering ECU-more install labor req. but worth it.

 

I think you should get him the following:

L-Tuned springs/shocks/steering ECU
L-Tuned or Borla exhaust
Swift intake/ECU and supercharger
TRD sways, braces, LSD, brakes and TC
Stereo like Percy's
Staggered HRE wheels

Only about $20K, but your Dad's gonna love ya!

 

For just for extra couple hundred dollars, you could have TEIN HA.
