What do you guys think about this color? I have seen a few pictures, but never actually saw one in person. Seems like a nice color. Also, does anyone know if it could have been ordered with a black interior? I seem to recall a CL member from New York recently bought an 04 or 05 GS300 in that exterior color, but had to take the ivory interior because that's the way they were all coming in his area. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

there was recently a member selling his blue onyx GS4 for an 06 GS430. I thought he had black interior.I can't remember his name but I'm sure someone knows who I'm talking about, he is a long time member.

I looked at one. The car at night almost looks black, would look good with chrome wheels. Interior was tan.

 

yeah the car is almost like black. unless you put the car under bright sun i dont think it's easy to tell it's blue

I have this color on my GS3, IMO it looks incredible especially at night, plus its very rare. In pictures its very hard to capture how it looks, you really have to see it in person.

I WISH it would come with a black interior, but all the ones i have ever seen had tan.

 

My gs430 also came with that combo blue onyx / tan interior. I've never seen them with a black interior.

 

This subject of color finally brought me out of passive/reader status. My '01 GS300 is blue onyx pearl with tan leather. Depending on the quality if light, you also can see some red in the finish. It really is handsome. I'm in Chicago's west suburbs and have yet to see another GS in the same color.

 

does blue oynx have the metallic flake in it or is it like regular black oynx with no metallic?

 

The color is metallic thats what makes it so special, especially at night. 1 sec it looks black then you see it under different lighting and it changes color.

 

I have an 02 GS430 that is Blue Onyx with black interior. I am actually getting ready to sell the car. Most people think the car is black. I love the color.

 

just picked up mine...color is crazy...swore it was black
