I think 18 or maybe 19's look good, but 20's are too much...takes away the balance...the wheels become too overwhelming...I like the subtle spoiler

Thanks for all the positive and negative feedback. The spoiler is not from an M5 but an M5 style spoiler. I used to own an Acura CL-S6 and that is what the rear lip spoilers were called on the Acura CL forum (sorry for the confusion). I haven't had a chance to drive the car past 50 and longer than half a mile yet so I can't say much about rubbing but so far these Nittos ride smoother than my 225/55-16's. I will update after I take the car out this weekend.

I was asking about the "real deal" rominl was talking about. The spoiler depot ones are knock offs and I am fully aware of them.

The last price that was quoted by one of the local Chicago Lexus dealers earlier this week was still $1K+ for the SportDesign spoiler. Unless chicagoblknazn has heard differently, the OEM prices are still off chart for these things...IMHO...

No that is not the OEM SportDesign spoiler, however that seems to be the look that he's going for. If not, I stand corrected. The point is, the look is clean and understated which many of us prefer. However, the cost of the OEM SD spoiler versus replicas is quite significant for what you get (i.e. OEM vs. Spoiler Depot). As much as many of us do not care for some aftermarket products, this particular issue seems to be one where we are at least willing to consider aftermarket over OEM. Bottom line is, the car looks good despite my preference for a smaller diameter rim to the 20's. The spoiler simply peeked my interest, as I am in the market to purchase an SD spoiler.

oh yeah i agree, the sd spoiler is nice but for the price i will really go to my toilet and puke.

i think i know our misunderstanding now neo was asking me if the 200-300 price for the m5 spoiler is still the same, i said yes, and then chicago said it's the price of the tein cs, and i got confused that he was trying to say the m5 spoiler

it's all good. imho if the m5 spoiler (the legit one of course, no knock offs for me) fits well like in the pics, why not

That's what I am saying...the price is over $1k as are coilovers. A strip of fiberglass or poly should not be priced that high......so i'll just save the $1000 and spend a couple hundred on a replica.

So now you are blaming me for the confusion, huh?

And you would be right. For some reason, I thought you were talking about the OEM SD spoiler. Sorry about that.

So far no rubbing at all. That is the SpoilerDepot spoiler on my car. LOVE IT.
