If that is the perception they have of american style on rims I would hate to see what kind of women they think we like

We try to fashion our cars after the Japanese and the Japanese try to fashion theirs after us. Go figure (i.e. JDM parts for our Lexus and US Spec Lexus parts for their Toyotas).

LOL the same reason I (and most of my asian buddies back in college) have this strange fetish for tall white blond aryan women, you good folks in the US probably have the same magnetic drawn to our "exotic, golden brown" women.....

I tell ya man, the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side....

That kit is a custom by a Japanese company called "171 Motoring" (the one that has the same exact logo as "310 Motoring" in LA hehehehhe).

Default livin in the hood

I don't see anything special there. I live in the hood here and I see those kind of rims all over. I see 85-91 chevy caprices with 22 24's. Imagine a $500 car with $3K rims? What I hate is these people that can't afford to have 22's and they buy the cheapest (which in most times, the ugliest rims there are, just to say they have 22's. So to me nothing new with seeing rims like that, I see them all day and all night here. The most common is 22's spoke wheels though.
