when you first buy them it tells you
that you may need to bleed them out

Anybody using this one from harbor freight? A lot of my friends use the Sears one but most, if not all of them, have been having issues.

i used to use alot of harbor freight stuff cause it was cheap but i found over the years with them you really do get what you pay for...
last thing i bought from them was a buffer that in the middle of me buffing my car the wheel broke off and shot like 10 feet forward (luckily it didnt shoot into my car)
i use something similar to these and then my regular jack.... or my 5 ton floor jack

for the price of the one u looking at i would prefer this one

We bought this OTC jack for my wife's track car which is pretty low. Selected this one because 1) has a lifetime warranty 2) reasonably light since we carry it to the track 3) gets under her car OK
I found it at sears online when I bought it, was about $50 cheaper.

We had two successive versions (from Northern Tool) of the Harbor Freight one and both broke within a year. If you use your jack a lot and plan on getting that one, get the extended warranty. Works fine, just not sturdy.
