Default Average Price and Who should do the work to put a bodykit on

How much did you guys pay to have your bodykit panited and put on (for those that didn't do it themselves) and would you recommend an individual or a company?

since you are in LA maybe you can ask Gammalex who did his. His kit work looked beautiful. As far as price it depends on a lot of things. If you get a good kit that fits good then the body shop wont have to do as much fitting and sanding and so forth. If you get a cheap kit they will have to do more body work so the price will go up. If I were you I would find some local car club or car show and ask them who they used and ask them if they were satisfied. Also check out the paint real good, if you can and look for any imperfections.

But I think your best bet is to pm Gammalex and ask him who he used

Oh please please make sure go to someone that is well known and has done good work before. I went to someone that said they were going to do a good job for cheap money and they ruined my car. Now I gotta redo the whole thing. Anywhere around 1k is a good price.

Just got mine done for a tad under $1200...that was for a front lip, roof spoiler, and rear bumper. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but the fitment and paint matching is superb, so it was well worth it.

that almost cost as much as the thing I bought . I am going to go to a dealer that did my corvette spolier I wanted to go to guys that work outside the shop maybe they do it for 1/2 the money but I got tired of this and no one wantts to return my calls so they can kiss my ***. I tried to deal with Toyota body shop and the guy had the nerve to say he can't guarentee anything, he said he can't even guarentee the paint. If you can't guarntee the paint will stay on the piece that I gave you then that is a damn shame not going to toyota for this, he sounded like he didn't want to deal with it anyway. I guess it isn't to far off. the piece I have on the other car suppose to take 100 hours at $90 an hour so $9000 to put that on, thank god I don't have to deal with that though. I say I will let someone do it for like $500 I had no idea $1300 or so, that knocks a chunk of mods I wanted to do the next few days out.

yeah it won't be cheap if you wanna get it perfect. fitting, painting, and install.

and depends on what kits you got, the kits could be well over the price of the painting and install

i also think 1000 to 1300 is a good price to shoot for

well vertex replica but made bettter then the actual piece, more reinforcement etc. I don't have $2,400 to spend on that thing and then another $1,500 to put it on, that to me isn't worth it. We have to see how this turns out.. The kit cost me $1299 on ebay . I got good deals on ebay before see how this goes and the company selling it has almost 100% good feedback and several hundred reviews.

You get what you pay for so if it's $500.00 then that's what your going to get. A $500.00 paint job
