Any good aftermarket OEM style wing???
Looking to get a spoiler on my '01 GS430. The dealer was asking over $1,500 for the spoiler (unpainted of course), mounting equipment, and new trunk support struts.
Is there an aftermarket company that makes a good quality spoiler that looks like the OEM?

I have it on my car . If you wanna see it in person, just attend one of our local meets. A small group of us gets together almost every weekend down in Santa Clara.
Might even think about selling mine.

Love my spoilerdepot OEM style wing. Less than 200 bucks painted - top quality fit and finish. I was skeptical too and was going to drop large $$ on an OEM spoiler, but am glad I went with this one!

Thanks for the info guys.
I've seen a lot of these "OEM" style spoilers (some on eBay, the internet, etc) for a lot cheaper than what the dealer was asking for the stock spoiler, and just didn't know which ones were of good quality.
I'm assuming all of the ones recommended come w/ all the appropriate mounting brackets, led lights, wiring harness, etc?

When and where do you guys usually meet up in Santa Clara? I've been dying to go to one of these to see how all your cars are done up and to hear the various exhausts and intakes, etc, but unfortunately my schedule is pretty hectic and I haven't had the chance to yet.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask...Did you guys have to replace the struts/supports on the trunk lid to support the added weight of a spoiler? If not, does the trunk lid still stay up when fully opened?
Thanks
Thanks

On the spoilerdepot.com one(choose the cheaper version of the OEM-style on their website - I asked them waht the difference was, and they said "none - just a pricing snafu) everything is included. I moved the trunk springs to the strongest position but it still slams shut due to the added weight. Does stay fully open without problemthough.

The RMM spoiler is plug and play with harness, LED third brake light, etc. It also weighs a lot like the OEM because it is solid fiberglass. The Spoilerdepot ones are of good quality, but are made of a very light material, I believe some "poly" type of plastic.
My trunk lid spring was made stronger by drilling a new mounting hole beyond the 3 locations already provided. Do a advanced search and you will find. The trunk slams when it is closed, but atleast it does stay up all the way too.
We have meets posted on the NorCal forums regularly. If you are local to Santa Clara, PM me and I will let you know when people are hanging around my house, sometimes working on their cars ! To name drop a few: Rominl, Redgs4, Neo, Synergy, Jawnthen, Darius2004 and that's just the GS gang. This is a regular occurance almost every weekend, so it's up to you to find the time.
Just let me know.
