My passenger side hid bulb (98 gs400) went pink 2 weeks ago, and went out completely last w/e. You can find topics/posts about this in the lighting section. I ordered two hid bulbs (DR2) off of eBay and they should be here within a day or two ($72 for both vs $250 at indy mechanic and $400+ at dealer). I'll be posting back in the lighting section about results. From what I understand, unless you have small, nimble hands or are willing to take off your front bumper for room, this isn't exactly a diy fix - however there are schematics in the lighting section on how to do it.

Good luck

I replaced mine by myself no problem. I was told by the dealer that they needed to take off the front bumper to get to the bulb and what not. This couldn't be further from the truth. Took me about 20 minutes. Just make sure you disconnect battery , and wear surgical gloves so you don't touch the bulb with your skin.

well, for sure you need some very small hands for the driver side especially. it's not easy to change if you have big hands

Thanks for your help.
Mines did the same thing, except my HID's turned yellow, worser that Hallogen bulbs color. Its a normal thing i think. I had them for over 3 years. After i changed brand new bulbs problem was gone. Get yourself a new set of bulbs and you'll be fine.
