I have to say i'm really coming around on those dish wheels!! i like them more now because they make the spokes look bigger than they really are, although i do really like lips...

i'm going to get 19s but if i see the rim i want in a 20 inch size and it weighs less than stock i'll get it

my list:

Racing Hart C5
Racing Hart C2
Sebring ITC
Volk F-Zero Challenge (been trying to figure out what those were ever since i saw a gs with them)
Volk F-Zero Winning
Volk IIII (does it come in 19"?)

thats about it.... hm... all in a silver or white finish

Out of your list Sasha I really like the C2 in Silver.. A mesh wheel with a lip on your GS3 will look sweet.. I would go chrome but that's me!

Hi gs4power,

My info of Dronell is base on a sepc sheet that I got a while back. I only have it for M-10. I know they are forged and they are made in Japan. I am not sure if they meet the standard you mentioned, but I am pretty confident that they do. I can double check with the dealer.... Anyway, like GLOBE said, their quality is very good.

Sasha, my 20's are comming soon ....

It's $1000 Canadian, so it's about $700 US.

ok man, if u want to find some really Light rims, and one's that look hot especially for the GS serious, go to HRE.com and check out the 540 series rims, the guy at this tire place told me that these rims are super strong, but are so light, u could throw them in the air with one hand, and catch them with that same hand, they're three piece rims, and those are the rims im gonna get on my GS430.

It depends on the manufacturing process. Heat treated and aged forged aluminum can be almost twice as strong as cast aluminum. Light forged aluminum wheels can be much stronger than their heavier counterparts. I can say my 18" TE37s are much stronger than the 17" lexus wheels (judging by the bends and cracks I got on them) even though they have a bigger circunference and are 7 lbs lighter.

GS T.O.,

Thanks a lot for the information, I'll look further into the dronell wheels specs, very interesting stuff!

Showgqluvv: Hey, I have HRE's (543's) in 20" and I can tell you that I was very surprised by how light they were for being 20" rims...

I love the C-2s except there are a lot of copies of racing hart and i don't think the one peice wheel comes in 19, and the 3 peice looks like an 18 inch rim..

Default C2's are not light

Sasha,

What happened to entertaining the thought of light and 19? FYI, C2s are not light at all.

Sasha:

Racing Hart wheels are not light. In Japan, Hart Wheels Inc. as you know makes Racing Hart, LowenHart, and Spring Hart. The only light wheel is the Spring Hart CP-035, which is RacingHart CP-035 here. To bad they were only available with 17s before, but I think 18s are out now with the release of the special edition ones.

If you want light mesh wheels, go VolkRacing's SE37A or K.

Or I don't know maybe the GT-A.
