It's subtle but definitely noticable Hameed... my favorite kind of mod Like I said earlier though, I would have gone with the much less expensive black chrome if I knew it existed.

It's similar to putting black pearl badges on instead of chrome IMO...basically the new lights are darker and have a different texture inside of them that is less reflective. My old ones had some pretty bad scars on them which was a big driver to getting the new ones as well.

I don't have any really good same-lighting pics that I've found yet to show the difference.

Ok thanks Dave. I think I can see the difference now. Yes it is subtle and they do look much better than the original ones.

I guess you changed the whole unit? Outer lens, interior and HID components too?

Yes, the headlights are all one piece (outer, inner) and the SD lights come with new bulbs. I went ahead and put new ones in the high beam and wedge. I used the same Piaa Superwhite bulbs I liked in my prior set for the high beams and got a set of LEDs for the wedge bulbs because they are so difficult to get to in order to change with my supercharger installed. Used BJunion Super White SMD LED I bought from another member who got them for testing (thanks Pete)

This is on Pete's car, not mine

are you talking about the oem black chrome lights from a platinum edition GS? they are cheaper than SD titanium color lights?

The SD Titanium is the high cost leader.

Looks great Dave

You know I love the lamps How can I get a set of those LED's!! We discussed that dilemma at NOPI last year and although this time around I had the BOV mounted a little differently I was looking under the hood the other day and it still seems as if I may have to remove the bumper just to get to the lights when that dreaded day comes those little Phillips Bluevision wedges of mine burn out

Default that is awesome!!!

I like the nose - if it were more slanted, it would look just like the normal hood!
