Default D2S or D2R??

Who know which HID bulb (low beam) goes into a 98 GS400??

D2S are for Projector type HIDs.

btw - I've seen HID bulbs listed as both, such as in at this site

Anyone have an opinion \ feedback on these?

it is d2r but u could go to nissan and get the same bulb for much cheaper. My local lexus dealer said $418 toyota said $316 and nissan said $217 (with tax $237) It is a philips 35 watt bulb they all have different part numbers but i asked them for a 2002-2004 nissan maxima bulp and it was a direct replacement....... Hope this helps.

you can get philips bulb on ebay for cheap

Around 75 bucks for a pair

Mikal is correct - This week I just bought/had installed a pair of d2r's from ebay. Much cheaper way to go.

yeah, seriously if i want some oem replacement i would have looked at ebay
