Talking Got GS 400 Today!!!! FInally

Well guys finally got the GS. Much different then the ES 300. Tighter and handling is alot tighter.. I noticed that i hear alot of road noise not to much from the tires. MAybe there out of balance and need to be rotated etc. or I'm hearing things .. I love the xenons they light up the whole street and the nachacami stereo is prety tight to. I'm going to try the CD changer tomorrow...and the telescoping wheel is cool to. Haven't tried the tiptronic yet....

I got the dealership to paint the front and rear bumpers free of charge because of scraches and curb rash in front bumper... Interior is mint and gave me brand new floor mats from a GS 430.. The car is just plain awesome.. Man I looked back everytime I parked it today and said wow... Also has dark tint.. After the paint work it'll practically be brand new.. Its just a real solid all around car. Glad I stuck with lexus instead of another ford.. Thanks guys for all your input.....Tmf2004

Congrats and welcome to the club. I still look back at my GS when I park it and I've had mind a little over two months.

Congrats.

I know what you mean. I still look back at my 98GS when I leave it in a parking lot with the same WOW. Don't be surprised if that feeling doesn't ever go away.

I particularly like getting a booth in a restaurant where I can see my car when I am having dinner. What makes it really nice is in this area, Audi, BMW's, and MB's are common. So far, I have the only GS430.

Default Me too!

I just got a '98 GS400 too! Pearl White, 17" Rims and bone stock. We were thinking about the 540i/6, but I think for sure we made the right decision. It is going to be our grocery shopper esp with since our baby is coming anyday now.

I am trying to think of something/anything to go out to drive the car.

I guess I need to know where to get the L-sportline grill or JDM grill. All these names are new to me because I've had a ford for seven years.. I think the grill and a drop in K@N filter for now...

Which grill out there are not to pricey? The car looks good the way it is for now.... I would love some 19's on it but its going to be a daily driver as soon as i sell the ES... So ride quality might suffer a bit with bigger rims....Thanks tmf

congrats on the new car

imho though, just make sure you don't compare this car to the es300. seriously, you will feel very weird.... this ons ie sporty, powerful, more noise. the es300 is num, quiet,. and comfortable.

enjoy the car
