sasha's website is correct. however, i always omit step 2's instruction on removing the black thing where u twist 1/4 turn. i just leave it on. all u gotta go is take off foglight. remove the lightbulb, and break the glass with a screwdriver and hammer. u might have to break it @ 2 different places if possible. it might not break into big enough pieces for it to fall out, so u will have to get needlenose pliers. first, shake and position any big pieces so they are at sitting at the entrance. then all u gotta do is pull it out hard w/pliers.

Default suggestion

To get all the glass out, how about attaching the wide end of a cut balloon to the end of a vacuum and then a straw or tube to the narrow end. You can now actual stick the straw/tube into the foglight and suck out all the pieces. Kinda like what the dentist has.

Just a suggestion.

Default took 13 minutes

Link above is down.
But it only took me 13 minutes to do. Remove the two screws. Pull out foglight assembly. Disconnect the bulb. Remove the bulb. Using a small screwdriver -HIT the yellow glass on the SIDE through the rear hold with a hammer-NOT VERY HARD.. Pull out pieces with a Long Nose. Reinstall. Just be careful that you do not hit the LENS glass with the screwdriver. It does not take much of a hit.
As stated above, there is no need to remove the black seal ring.

Default Why the yellow anyhow?

Does it illuminate better with the yellow or ?

Looks like an easy fix to remove.

i've been looking around for some 9006 good blue bulbs but it seems that they are the most popular size and i can't find a good set! i have more pics of the installation if you want them as well.

both clear with HID
