The lexus LS uses a projector in its newer models, the older models with the reflector base set up gives out the same ammount of light.

The new projectors are sweet but blacksc400 had a 01 LS430 (according to his sig) so this would not apply. The OEM reflectors are still pretty good though.

Yeah the new projectors on the LS are considered to be some of the best projectors in the market. They rival honda s200 projectors and they are claimed by most HID guru's to be the best projectors out there since they put out the most light on the road. So if anyone is thinkin of doing a projector retrofit and you dont really care about the cut of color then by all means try to get a hold of the ls projectors they put a ton of light on the road.

yup that's correct, and the unit is used on the sc430 as well

so far the only difference i know is that s2000 uses clear front lens, whereas lexus use milky lens. i wish i can change out the front lens to clear easily

you can, just get a hold of clear lenses and swap em, Ive seen it done.

yeah but i will need to open up the headlights, that sound extremely scary to me already
