Default Polarg M6 (Very Happy)

I installed my Polarg M6 lights today, and was very very impressed. They match my HID's almost identically. There is a definate difference between these, and the tiny blue lights i bought from lextasy.com. I didn't have any real problems with the install as far as cutting or taking anything out, or breaking any of the bulbs. Long Skinny Hands will do the trick.

If you get LEDs, they would match even better....but they are kinda dim and tend to blow pretty early. I went back to the Polargs myself...

will polarg M4 match my 01 oem hids? m6 look great too, but they seem whiter than stock hids. I also don't like the fact that m6 is 10w higher than oem.
can you see the blue bulb during day when lights off?
it took me awhile to notice how mismatched this looks at night

I've done some searching, and this is a great thread

good work. just keep in mind that m6 tends to blow more easily coz' of the intense heat it generates

i have the m4 and i have never regreted, it looks very nice, even with my 6000k

The "tiny blue lights" from lextasy are LEDs. And i found them very weak and disappointing. They're marketed as daylight running lights, but (as you already know) they just replace the PARKING lights.

I put in 6 leds yesterday. The blue coating from the Polargs were peeling and making the bulbs look fuzzy.

I'm never going back to Polarg or PIAAs.

One of the reason why your bulb might be peeling because when touching with bare hand will leave a natural oil coating from your fingers causing the area to heat p, and lift.

I use a clean cloth to handle all bulbs no matter how small or cheap they are. It's just a common practice of mine that I have been doing since I was a kid, so I know that couldn't be the reason.

The little bulbs in the high beam housing that turn on when you're headlights turn on.

Polargs usually last quite a bit of time and the blue tint have never come off, at least the ones i had.
