Hey guys, I was just playing around with photoshop and I think that I've done it. I have come up with the BEST looking LED tail light design for the newer style (01-05?) GS's. But I'm not sure if it will fit inside the housing; could you post a bunch of detailed pics of the back of the taillight assembly from multiple angles, and if any of you have pics of the light without the lens on it so I can see inside better that would be WONDERFUL! Why am I playing around with the idea of LED taillights for a GS when I have a ES, you ask? Well, I just ordered 1000 5mm red LEDs and I've just been trying to come up with creative ways to use 'em all (I need about 150 for the LED taillight conversion on my ES, which leaves 850 to play with ).

Oh, and once I get the design all figured out (to the best of my ability since I don't have an actual taillight on hand to look at) using your pics, I'm going to need one of you GS guys to be my guinea pig.

So dig thru your pic libraries or go out and take off/apart your taillights and post some pics!!!







What, you want pics of my design? Patience, my son. I want to get all of the kinks worked out and I think that it would be cool if the first pics posted were of the first run taillights on guinea's car...

I like the idea you have going on there I personally think you need more led's in the tail light just the side looks a little weird for me.
