Does anyone know if you can play DVD movies on the Navigation system display?

 

it's not that easy...a lot of rewireing and money...that NAVI screen is not exactly a TV...

 

Can't do it in the GS unless you get some work done. LS will do it only if the car is in park.

 

My LX will play them if its in park and the E brake is pulled. Have you tried that??? I only ask because one would think for manufacturing costs all the Nav systems would be the same??? In my LX it says DVD Changer not CD Changer, and it has the offical Dobly Digital, DVD video and some other logos on it. If you have this you should try and put a DVD movie in the changer, select the disk, make sure your at a complete stop, and pull the e brake.

But what I want is to play them on the run, like the system I have in my Suburban. Anyone know how to do it??? I tried driving with the e brake up one click, but that didnt' work.
