Default factory radio woe's

anyone hook an amplifier and subwoofer box to the factory gs 400 nakami.. head unit??? I know i need a hi-low line converter, but i don't know what kind will allow the factory head unit to let me adjust the bass when i play it loud....... too stay loud. Everytime i put the volume up the bass drops out .... HELP

Honestly man...you should just invest in an aftermarket deck....these factory headunits weren't made to handle many aftermarket "add ons" ...

Yeah i know,but i don't like the look of aftermarket radios. I just want to keep the stock head unit and go from there ...thanks anyway

I just adjusted my amp to the proper settings and re-wired my subs using 1 ohm instead of 8 ohms . They hit hard now and even though they still loose power when i turn them up, they are still loud enough for me (as well as my neighbors....lol).
