you have just the bulb or the whole hid kits system?

if it's the bulb, then we know the problem obviously

if it's the system, are you sure all connections are solid? if so, maybe it's the ballasts?

Had that happen to me on my old whip. It turned out that the kit was not weatherproof, so humidity, and water were getting into the connections and ballast. I had it shrink wrapped, the problem went away. And it worked fine for 6 months, untill i got me a maxima HID system.

Since it is the whole system I would say somewhere one of your connectioons is bad. I had this happen on mine and I had to tape the connector for the bulb to the connector for the stock light. Once I did that the problem went away. It was also on my drivers side.

make sure you have good connections on power and ground. take off the wires and clean the surrounding area and re-attach.

Well Hid "kits" are all generaly made of poor quality. First of if you ever decide to switch to OEM hid parts you wont be able to interchange them between your current kit. As far as them flickering that means there not gettin enough power, what model and year is ur car?. You can go to napa and buy a foglight wirring harness and run the ballast through it. At start up for about 4-5 seconds the ballast draw up to 15 amps, your stock halogen bulbs draw 8 amps. If you stuck your hid kit in your regular halogen reflectors then I assume you are already disapointed with the light output ( not to mension the glare : I ). The harness costs 25 dollers I believe and it will take about 10 mins to install, if your lights flicker even with the new harness then remove it return it and throw your kit in the garbage because it wont run for long. Sorry to tell you all this but this is what happens when you buy hid kits with out doing a little research. I have 2 oem bmw ballast and ignitors for sale, and 1 oem lexus ballast with an intergrated ignitor, so if you still having problems feel free to message me. Oh and ps try swappin the ballast and then turn it on and see if does the same thing, then swap the ignitor if yours are not intergrated, then do the same with the bulbs.
