Can someone recommend a good window tinting shop in the Metro DC area? I would prefer someone where near Arlington, but I wouldn't be opposed to driving a little if they do good work.

theres a place up in PG county. Exit 15 on central ave,. i think its called like capitol. they tint any vehicle for $99 and they know there stuff. the place look like a hole in the wall but they are good tinters. comes with lifetmie warranty. cant beat that for 99.

I have used LA Tint in Manassas on two of my vehicles and they've been reasonably priced and professional.

There is a new place at the intx of Rte 28 and Rte 29 in Centreville called "Express Tint" I think. I had them do my wifes Passat wagon and they were really reasonable.

i went to a place off route 7 towards Reston off Colvin Run Road called California Tint. The place is very small but the guy did a great job and charged me 220 with lifetime guarantee..LA tint is a ripoff they were charging me 300 for the same job...

I recommend California Tint, too. They have done great jobs on two of my cars. $220 sounds about right.

How weird is this?

I was in Georgetown over the weekend and overheard some guys on the street talking about a tinting shop off of Exit 15 in PG county. I think it's the same one that was mentioned in a previous post.

They were standing next to a white 745iL that just had the windows treated. The owner of the car was saying that the shop was a "hole in the wall" but did great work for only $100.

I tried looking up this shop on-line but did not find anything. I tried looking for shops with the the name "Capitol" and even called a few of them, but had no luck.

Does anyone know the name of this place? I am curious and would like to know more. Thanks in advance!

I got mine done at The Tint Lab in Fredericksburg, VA. They are on RT. 1 if you take the Manassas exit and go North on RT. 1 they are a few miles up on your left next to the funeral home.
