Hi 2SAVVY,

I got my car at Scarborough Lexus Toyota, my girl friend works there. So far, all I know is that they will get L-tuned parts sometime this summer, don't have the exact date yet. I think Lexus Canada is still working that out with TRD. I will keep the Toronto guys posted as when L-tuned become available and its price.

By all means please do keep us TO guys informed on L-Tuned.. BTW did the girlfriend help get you a better deal on the GS??

Marty,

Steve is a great guy and his prices rock.. I've traded a few emails with him regarding things I wanted to do to the GS if I kept her but alas I won't have her for too long.. The other thing is duty, brokerage fees and exhange rate pretty much eliminate the savings from buying from Steve.. But thanks for posting his info none-the-less..

by the way I noticed that you have a pectra blue GS400 with black interior that is a very rare mix I was wondering if you can post any pics of it for us
Hey,
Actually mine makes a squeaking sound when I turn and brake at the same time. The dealer said the brakes had decent life at the last checkup. Is there any other thing possible?

I had the same exact problem (loud clunk when steping on the brakes)

Properly explained here. The pads are loose inside the calpiper.

The mechaninc adjusted the springs on the pads pushing them out so they sit tight inside the caliper no more noise.

I guess that what happens when they just toss the pads from the box into the caliper without adjusting the springs. It's like a five minute fix.
