I am currently looking for Alstadt Vs for my GS. The site www.aktusa.com has a entire dealer list that sells Altstadts.
I found a local rim shop that is trying to get a price for me. The person at the rim shop told me if I order it, it will take some time before I can get it because they have to order it from Japan since the distributor does not have it right now. The only size that her distributor has in stock right now are 18 x 9.5 but I am looking for 18 x 8.5
Good luck shopping

GS4Point30 - looked at that web site (thanks) - what does it mean by "StdDisk, Medium Disk, High Disk" versions?
Also, it doesn't say whether the wheels are hub centric or come with centering rings, etc.

i am not too sure what the different disk sizes listed for the Alstadt wheels are about but the rim shop told me that a GS would probably use a medium disk.
I dont think i will be ordering the Alstadt Vs this summer anymore. From what I heard, there are only 2 distributors for these rims in the U.S. (Riverside and AKT) and it doesnt seem like either of them have these wheels in stock. This means they will have to order it from Japan and it will take at least 6 weeks for the rims to arrive here.
on a separate issue, did anyone ever hear of the Lowenhart BR5s without a lip? I was asking my rim shop about a set of 18x 8.5s and they told me for that size on a GS, it does not have a lip.
