Default Check engine light just came on? need advice..
Help, my check engine light just came on, car has about 60k on it. no engine mods on it at all, not sure why the light came on? checked my gas cap, seems to be on at least 3 clicks...............any Idea of what it could be?

try resetting the ECu


pull off the neg for like 5 minutes

the book says 90 secs to disarm the airbag sensors

but be safe and give it 5 minutes

drive around if it comes back again

head to an autozone to run codes for you

yeah... just get autozone to read the codes but my guess is the oxygen sensors.

a part that usually on top of the engine, a part of the fuel system. ON all toyotas, they always become bad after certain miles, and that cause engine light come on. Good luck, the parts along cost over 200 bucks.

My car is still under warranty.

I went to autoZone to get it checked, and the meter said, "PAY MONEY TO GET IT TURNED OFF!"

J/k , Im taking it to the dealer tomorrow!

Couldnt find my original thread, must have been deleted, but to let you know it was a 02 failure, dealer is replacing the sensor(s) under warranty.
