Engine Dress up and Care Questions....
Hello again CL!! Some of you guys are aware of the little project that I have going on with my GS. Well the project is near completion and I should have some pics for you next week. I took some pics of my engine of course its dirty and all of that right now and I am sure that Creative Customs will clean it up real well before I pick it up on Saturday. My question is this how do I keep my engine clean? Are there any dress up items I can get to pretty it up a bit more? I went with the SRT intake and the Tanabe exhaust which is really quiet by the way. Anyway check it out and tell me what you think.

Maybe Jay can chime in but I'm curious where he got his Koyo from. I talked directly to the R&D guys at Koyo and they do not offer a radiator for the GS cars. I asked them if making a prototype would be in the future and they said if it happens, it wouldn't happen for at least 6-8 months.
So, I purchased a IS300 koyo radiator and had custom brackets underneath made to hold it in place. The IS300 radiator is about 2 inches short in width and about 2 inches short in length. However, my car cools better than the stock OEM one. Go figure...

The cam cover should fit. The engine cover is meant for 01+ GS300s (since it was made originally for the IS). You car get it and try to do something custom to get it to work on a 98-00 GS300. No one has tried (that I know of) yet.

I don't know the details but bluelex and D-Man63 both DIY (different methods I think) an engine cover onto their GS300s. I am not sure if the same DIY will work on the IPT cover, however.
