Default Automan's GS Project updated pics

Well for those of you keeping up with the little project that I have going on I have some updated pics of the trunk. It is pretty much completed with talk of a little more neon or some thing like that. Plus they are trying to get some kit on there that will raise the trunk by remote. That should be interesting. Of course the car is still dirty from being in the shop but what do you think about the trunk?

I like the trunk set-up. So, does this mean the car is done...Well, I know it is never completely 'done', but you know what I mean. I thought originally you were hoping to have it done by this Friday.

Thumbs up

Looks great but don't try to run all that stuff without the car running, you'll drain your battery

No I don't sell Orion but Creative Customs is an Orion dealer. As far as the car being done by last Friday it didn't happen. I have now missed two shows this week it was something with the glass. The guy from Diamond Glass scratched up the front wind shield really bad and Creative is making them replace it. The lastest bad news is that they replaced it today and something else got messed up. I should have the car on saturday but I already missed both of the local NOPI shows. Does anyone know of any local shows VA/MD/DC that I can hit in the next month or so? They can be big or small I gotta get my feet wet with this show thing. Thanks for all the input.

I think the trunk and lid look great except for one thing. I would get rid of the OEM carpet and replace it with maybe black vinyl. You did every thing else nice in the trunk why leave out one minor detail. Just my $0.02

My personal opinion is I think you should remove all the stock black/grey carpeting and replace them with some contrasting color alcantara or suede. The way your trunk setup looks right now is unfinished and looks like they have a blue-painted fiberglass box sitting on the tire well.

I don't know how that grey carpet is gonna score with the judges, but I understand you are going for the full show/contest look and you should remove those carpeting entirely....

just my 2 cents...
