Default Most Miles??

What's the highest number of miles ever recorded on a GS? Anyone on here? Anyone that knows of a car that has a lot of miles?

How many miles can I expect out of my engine?

Make sure you have a good dealer to work with and take their advise on maintenance. Also don't skip any of the major 60K and 90K services. I know that they are expensive but it pays off in the long run. My 98GS still drove like it did the day I bought it when I sold her without ANY major repairs and absolutely NO work on the engine or transmission.

I only have 109,000 on my 1998 GS400, but my 1992 SC400 has over 340,000 miles. That's essentially the same engine. Only routine maintenance required.

I have a '98. Everybody that sees/sits/rides in my car ALWAYS thinks it's close to new. When I tell them it's a '98 and I just hit 107K they're eyes almost pop out!

Seriously, if you keep up with maintenance(inside, outside, engine) you'll have no problems.

I love my GS. It's never failed me once. I'll keep it as long as I can. Or at least as long as I keep plans for it!

hey Highmiles, did they ever adjust the valves in any of your 60, 90 etc maintenance? Also, did your steering wheel motor last that whole time?
