John, Whole "get up" looks wonderful. Love the black marble in the trunk, nice touch! You got a link to the thread for the is300 w/ mood lights? I want to try that out.,

agreed......I once woulda considered Derrick's GS the best, but John has soo badly blown everyone else's GS's away....I could only hope to impersonate him one day...

and btw when Lexus says "relentless pursuit to perfection" they need to holla at John

That setup is very sweet. By far my favorite part though is the controls for the airride. I think it looks very clean and almost stock looking. The matte black finish on the casing fits nicely with the controls. I think that was done flawlessly. Too many times you see people just mount buttons anywhere or use an ugly box for the buttons but this is top notch Congratulations

Nice touches Jon. I tell ya, it's the little things that go the distance. I bet your system sounds sweet but I bet the mood lighting and gauges bring a smile to your face... Your car deserves COTM honors.. keep up the great work!

Thanks a lot, guys. Your comments really mean a lot to me. It definitely feels nice to be recognized. Anyway, to answer some of the questions.

Here's the moodlight door LED conversion that I got from the IS300 dude:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=157553

Here's the moodlight overhead LED conversion from another GS member:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=160388

For my audio work, I haven't got the final damage yet from the shop. But from the looks of it, it's going to be a little over $4000 and that's not including the black marble paintjob that was done at another shop (the guy who did my bodykit). If you think about it, it's still considerably cheap compared to what you would pay in the US since my car was at the shop for 9 weeks and there were 2 guys (my buddies) working at it every hour, every day for 9 weeks.

However, I helped out whenever I have some free time. During the weekends I would be there. I rerouted the cables from the airrunner myself, sanded the center console defi gauges myself, rewired the defi into the glove compartment myself, etc. So that helped out a little bit. Of course I couldn't do any of the audio stuff, I leave that to the expert.

There's still some minor kinks to be ironed out. For example, they left the Alpine equalizer for my car below my driver's seat. I didn't like that coz it's untidy and not hidden. They also stuck the HUGE custom passive crossover under the dash, causing a huge bulge below the dash that's hindering the brake movement as my foot keeps on hitting the bulge before I could brake properly. I find that quite dangerous, so that needs to be changed.

Next stop is the ECU. I am going to take out the stupid AVC-R and the piggyback Microtech ECU because it really is not doing anything anymore and am going standalone. I just don't know with what just yet. Maybe Motec or Autronic. A friend of mine in Greece is a really good AEM tuner and he drives a 700hp supra and he wants to fly out here to rig an AEM unit (probably a world's first on an Aristo) and tune it on the highway with me. I am excited.

But once again, thanks a lot, guys. Many things have been done, but I am not close to finishing up just yet.

I love everything about your car! Major props on the trunk setup and mood lighting. Have you had a chance to take any more pictures of the outside since the AirRunner? I would love to see some.
