A friend of mine in Greece is a really good AEM tuner and he drives a 700hp supra and he wants to fly out here to rig an AEM unit (probably a world's first on an Aristo) and tune it on the highway with me. I am excited.

But once again, thanks a lot, guys. Many things have been done, but I am not close to finishing up just yet.
Jon, are you going standalone on stock twins or going all out?

Default Nice job!

You Aristo surely makes everyone on this GS forum envy. Just got one question regarding the gauges holder that you custom-made. Why didn't you simply get the one from Kazz Sport? Unlike the one from Abflug, the Kazz Sport one does have functional air vent. I've been using it for 6 months.
It looks like you're gonna say goodbye to your stock turbos very soon. Have you got any plan for transmission upgrade? The stock AT won't hold for long when you have 420 plus hp.

Simple, it takes a lot less time to make the gauge holder myself than to import one from Japan. The last time I waited for something from Japan, it took almost 6 months. And this is just a simple gauge holder. We did it all in a week and that's including the painting time for the matte black color. My air vents work fine too. We also reroute the back airvent into the newer smaller hole and it didn't hamper the flow of air at all.

And yes, the stock turbos are going away sometime this year. Planning to buy a Boost Logic built transmission (good for 700hp) and either build up my own turbo kit or get one that's already available for the Supra (either from SP, BL, Greddy, or HKS).

Hi Jon,

Regarding the pic below:

1. Did you replace the map reading lights in the rear with leds? if so, which LED?

2. Did you replace the map reading lights in your car (the ones in the front) with LED's? If yes, which particular LED?

Can you pop it out and take a pic for me please? a close up pic.
Is it bright enough as a map reading light?

1. Yes, you should ask PHML. He got me everything.

2. The one in front are not map lights. They are the LED ambient lights that I put inside the maplight switch.
