It's alive! It's alive!!!!
Finally, after 2 months I got my car back. I am so happy that it's finished. There's still some minor quirks to sort out but in general I am very very happy with the outcome....
Anyway, let's start with the trunk. Full fiberglass work with black marble paint. Two 12" Soundstream Tarantula subs powered by 2500W of juice from 2500.1 Viper amp. There's also the Xtant X604 amp powering my front Aurum Sanctus magnetic ribbon tweeters and SEAS Excel mids on custom passive crossovers. I tried to keep a theme of black and chrome going in the trunk and I think it turns out alright. White LEDs are used to accentuate the lines and shadows. There are 2 cap banks and the whole system is powered by its own Stinger battery that also powers the compressor to the Airrunner tank semi-hidden towards the back.
Here's a previous pic of the black marble. The Xtant cover was removed for tuning at this time. Never mind the crooked airrunner sticker...
The airrunner control unit is rerouted to the center armrest and the whole case is repainted in matte black.
Last, following the idea of another GS member here on CL, I drilled 2 holes on my map light switch and aimed 2 white leds towards the center console for some moodlighting. They turn out real nice...
Here's a picture of the center console. When I took this picture, the whole cabin is actually completely dark except for the LED mood lights. As you can see, they really brighten up the center console considerably. The defi gauges have also been moved to where the center air vents used to be. The 2 holes below the gauges are routed directly to the inner ac vents. So, yes, everything still works perfect. The Defi control unit II is rerouted into the glove compartment area. In the same picture, you can also see the Alpine 7998R head unit and the PHA-701 audio equalizer.
I also did moodlight LEDs on all my 4 doors. Here's a previous pic of a test done with blue LED. I ended up using white LEDs to match everything else in the cabin.
So here they are, I am glad I got this car back after 2 months. I still got a few things left coming up, but I think I just want to enjoy it for now....

nice jon !
everything is looking awesome. I was wondering how the marble would look and I'm impressed. It looks reall hot ! hahaha but you are gonna have to do something about that crooked airrunner sticker. But everything else is looking nice !
I also like the subs without the covers on. It give the trunk a different look.
I'm planning on doing the moodlight LED's in the door handles also. Is it easy to do?

Yeah, it's really easy to do, man. Some guy at the IS forum started a thread and he has a whole DIY. I really just followed him but I have to tap power from different wires because Aristo's wiring is a heck lot more complicated than the IS300....

The set up came out really good. What did they charge you for the set up I know you said you have a couple of buddies at the shop. Just want to compare the rates per hour over there compared to hear . Why did you put the chrome spiders on the subs what changed you mind to much chrome in there???
