Post Anyone Have 20 inch rims??

Sup guys, I thinking about purchasing the 20 inch Model I Evo's. Just wandering how the ride comfort is and if you need a drop or not. Anymore tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Also, what do yall think about these?

For that model, it only comes in 20's. I was quoted $1350 per. rim at some local shops in my area.

Eric just installed them on his GS4. Check out the gallery section, it's a bronze color GS4.

Wow thats pretty pricey. That's even more expensive than the 540 HRE. I think I will pass on that.

Actually, any of the 540's series in 20" chrome is $1521 - $1622 (8.5" to 10" wide) retail (of course Mo will give you a better price)

Personally, I think Lsportline charges a little too much for their rims. They're charging forged rim prices for a cast rim (granted, they're high quality cast rims). I would shop around for a better price though because those are nice looking rims (another one of the few I would do in chrome)

I would take some Model 5s instead.

Yes

sorry for the confusion.

Twin 5 spokes, AVS Model 5s are my favorite. Manaray Sport VR5 Quest is my 2nd favorite.

I think spending TOO MUCH on wheels are okay when they combine form and functionality (HRE.) But I would never spend that much if it's only for looks (Dubs or some davin wheels)

Call a dude named Hovo at www.1stopcustomwheel.com. He gave me a price quote on some L-Sportline Model 2's that was waaaayy less than Infinite Motorsports. I'm getting pretty close to ordering the Model 2's (even though I told Manaray I was almost certainly gonna order the Auto-Couture's). I know they're a bit overpriced but I just love their look and the fact that they're exclusively Lexus.

BTW .... Manaray/Globe/others .... what's the best riding tire for a 20x8.5 and 9.5 setup using the L-Sportline? I know that you sacrifice ride comfort when you go with 20's. The guy at 1stopcustomwheels said the Michelin Pilot XGTZ4 or something like that was smooth riding and quiet.

couldnt believe how nice my wheels looked

these wheels grab plenty of attention

I paid $6500 locally with Pirelli Tires

bobcat:

The Michelin Pilot XGT V4 is pretty smooth compared to other tires of the same size. 20s you're guranteed to have a rougher ride, but that's something you can't avoid.

Or you can try Yokohama AVS Sports. It might be alittle bit on the roadfeel side but I think the performance is better.

Other tires are just too rough.

i think I can get the Lsportline either same or less or price than the Lowenhart setup. 6500 is a bit too stiff Erick = P.. but.. I love Lsportline's model vi the 5 spokes one on IS, they are sweeeet,!!!

$6500 might be high
that inclues tax and my tires are like 300+ a piece

Buying rims cheaper online can be a big pain in the ***
as i experienced with superbuytires.com

And if your going to spend 5k or more
buying locally can be enjoyable

now if i have a problem with my wheels i go back to the shop
I dont have to package them back up and mail them
not a fun process

thanks
