I've heard of people JB Welding the new bung on...wouldn't recommend it though. Welding it on is def your only option. Any muffler shop can do it for you for under $20.

center vents are out

very easy to take this out

i put a piece of tape on the end of a screwdriver as to not mess up anything

and just pried caqrefully on both sides ..time to take it out 13 seconds maybe even faster

then just disconnect the clock and hazard button and thats it

now how im going to do this ....

any help from CL members would be great

i have the pics of what i want to do already

3 gauges across ........and a wideband

thats it

Actually, that's a very similar idea Luxury Motorworks had in mind when they wanted to do my setup. We were going to use 3 gauges in the vent area and make slots for the air to still come out. However, my buddy who did my audio setup thought it wouldn't be wise to lose my vents due to the hot Cali weather so I had him create my own custom gauge pod in the cup holders angled towards me.

My redirected air vents still produce the same amount of cool air. And trust me, living in the tropics 365 days a year, I KNOW that i never want to lose center air vents. So what my audio guy did is just to block off half of the center vents and mould fiberglass to reroute the airvents to the bottom slot holes....

that figures! See, if you would have finished your project while I was working on mine, I would have done it that way. But I was to chicken to lose any cooling coming from the center vents. Now at least TLW knows it works and can do it...

Johnny, I still think you need a fuel pressure gauge. Again, this is only if you plan on playing with different pulley setups for more boost. If your wide band displays lean #'s under WOT, you are going to need to find out if your fuel pressure is dropping under full boost or if you need a secondary fuel pump or larger fuel pump to keep the fuel flowing. As you already know, running to lean for too long = Boom. Just my opinion.

Those are cheap becuase they are only the displays, I am almost positive they dont include the O2 Sensor or anything else. I have the AEM it was around 400.00, for the complete system.

That looks much better. You can always put the tranny cooler in another location.

just so you guys know

the Kazz sports pod gauge will not fit american Gs

Johnny,

Thank you for your inquiry. I have been told that the gauge pod will not fit American cars but I am investigating this matter. I will get back to you in a few days.

Thanks,

Sam Remis
