a lowering is must to maintain the aesthetic balance, without it the overall look will be "wheels with a car on top", rather than "nice car"

I'm one of those guys w/20's and no drop and should I get the l-tuned drop?
It's my daily driver, and I work in a downtown section with pot hole after pot hole and my rims rub all the time because of it. I'm afraid it might rub even more with a 1 inch drop so I decided not to. It looks like a 4x4 and I hate the way it rubs already on these roads
btw, you could probably tell by reading this post, but yes, I am used to driving trucks and SUV's that are high off the ground so this rubbing issue is something I'm not used to.
