Where to get TINT job in the bay area

Hi, I'm new to the board. Just got a 99 GS400 and would like to know if anyone can recommend a good tint shop in the bay area. I seldom see good looking tints but I figure Lexus owners have good taste so I'm trusting you guys.

call Rodney, his contact for the tint shop is located in San Mateo which is not that far from San Jose. They have done serveral GS with different tint styles. Just have Rodney set something up for you.

Try California Tinting. It's located just off Camden, on Sunny Oaks, in an industrial park area. I got to it by turning onto off Winchester at Hacienda. My five window tint cost $350 about two years ago. They do a great job and the tint is guaranteed for the life of the car.

hey Amlin, I need tint on my New GS430 in bay area too, I used to let Mr. Tint do the Quantum Tint for me.... which is awesome quality, but it's like 400 bucks, i think it's ripping me off..... So i am looking for the same tint, but with much better price, perhaps we can do it together, 2 always make better price =D

have the new gs tinted down here in LA, my guy is tinting mine using (quantum like yours) for ~$220. he also has a clear film from japan that is 100% UV protection that i can put on the front wind shield for $60 more.

hey Will, thanks for the input... THANK GOD i got you as a friend ^^. tons of connection =D. I will have my GS tinted to the guy you recommanded, 220 is an awesome price, along with 60 + for the front. :eek:

no problem. that is what this forum and friendship is all about.
i am just glad i found that clear japanese film for the front wind shield, otherwise the blk dash would be fried in this s.cal sun.
the guy has been tinting cars building for over 15 years, and he charges very good prices.

Hei guys....
It's GS500 from chat... I might be moving back to SF next sem and I MAY bring my car... Since you guys are on the topic of tint... My car is tinted... all around including the (illegal) front windshield... do you know if I have to remove all my tint before I ship my car to SF?

I was just in LA for graduation...was wondering where I could get a tint job...saw a silver CLK430 with such a beautiful tint I wanted to leave a note and ask him where he got it but I figured I only go back down to LA about every two months. I need my tint NOW...Will check out the recommended places over the weekend...gotta work =(

well, if you can wait until the next time you come to LA, we can all meet for lunch, and you can have your car tinted. there are many benz down here use that quantum tint wei and i were referring to.
