I live in Centreville, so not far at all. I paid 21,600. 2001 GS430 w/ 73K miles, clean carfax, all VINs on body parts, ML sound, nearly perfect body. I'm pleased with the deal. If it had paint work it is undetectable to my eyes. Gaps are perfect all around. Also had all records including the 5, 10, 30, 40, and 60K service records from the dealership.

I bought the same car about 2 weeks ago, 2001 GS430 with ML no navi and 56K miles. I bought mine in Manassas, Va. I love the car! Oh yeah, I paid 23,900.

yeah I paid 28000 for an 01 GS430 with NAV and 17's 52k miles...blk/blk is a hard combo to find I think that is why mine was so high priced!!!

You got a great deal. Down around Alabama they want more then what you paid for 2001-02 GS300s without nav or ML. Most GS430s are listed over 30 grand even ones with higher mileage. Wish I was back on the East Coast to purchase a used car. I might just say forget these stubborn dealers around here and get the GS on the East Coast. I have seen a few GS430s around Delaware going for 22-23 and 1 or 2 for less. What was the original price listed for your car, how much did you bargain them down? Black, dark grey, and silver are the nicest colors to me. Nice car.

Hey Congrats Man!

That's one clean *** GS! The wax job on it is just awesome!
And man, you got a great deal on that one, especially since you got all the service records to proce that it was well taken care of.

Time to start modding and break the bank!

yea, i think he ended it last night. I went to Manheim on Friday and bid 23,100 for a 2001 430 w/ 55K and didn't get it (no sale). I got this guy down an additional 200 from his listed reserve price with no additional titling, tags, etc fees. Buying anything for this amount of money from ebay (or from the auction for that matter) is risky, but I figured I had an opportunity to drive up, see and drive the car, and still say no. I don't think I would have bought it if I hadn't seen and driven first. By the way, as excited as I was about going up on Sunday afternoon, the 4hr drive from DC to NY took me 8 hours. There was traffic the entire way.

Mods will probably be slow coming but I'm sure I can count on you all for advice
