I had a DVD/TV indash in my old car, never really used it at all... however now that I have NAVI and touch screen controls to almost everything in the car, I LOVE IT, I do use the Navi atleast once a week, you'd be surprized. Its nice to have a virtual map when driving in unfamiler areas, its very useful, go for it.

My questions is this - is it worth it to get the 98 just because of the NAV? Or should I go with the slightly newer 99?
I used to think I would love having a TV/DVD player in my car so I had one in my SC400 and never really used it. I don't know if I would ever use the NAV, or whether I just want it b/c it looks cool.
Which would you do?
