ok welp after much long debate im going to partially scrap this design... instead of building the whole bracket for the projector i plan to take a page off of aristo 161 diy,, i plan to reuse the reflector bowl mount the s2k projector in it and then fill in the gap with the my design just downsized to fit the bowl

Yeah thats what I do with all retros, reuse the bowl, look in my gallary I got alot of pictures. I dont see why you wanted to make your own bracket. At first I didnt realise what you ment I thought it wsa purely for decorative purposes. But if you actually did take the hard route then your bracket has to be made out of sturdy plastic in order to maintain the projectors weight with heat. If your there is alot of flex in your bracket then you will see your projectors cutof fibrate when you drive. All you do is cut a hole about 3 inches in diameter and the original 9006 bulb ring would be your center then just drop the projector in there and use masking tape to hold it in place, then position it as even as possible, both horizontaly and vertically and use regular j/b weld. WHen you use j/b weld let it stand for 15 mins, it will be much easyer to work with and it wont drip inside.

well i cant decide whether i should paint the housing a glossy black maybe grey or keep it oem and have it shinnny... im feeling the OEM look but painting it black would surely show off the mod more

edit: and my car is white hmmmmm tuffy

edit2: pix , the bezel around the projector isnt in place its just hanging there for this pix

That looks great. Good job. How hard was this to do? Have you done other retrofits? I am really thinking about this mod trying to find someone to do this for me.
