Default Update:Sibling (or Spousal) Rivalry ? – The Tale of a 2 Lexi Family

Well as many of you know, after seeing all the nice Lexi at EOS v2, the wifey was really yearning to add a second member to our family. A few months later we announced our new addition, Baby IS. >> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ghlight=family

The toys came really quickly for Baby IS. It didn’t hurt to have Big Bro GS to guide the way. It’s been 18 months since the blessed event and the toys for Baby IS just keep coming, as told by the wifey here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ighlight=story

Last months changes included Sony Headrest monitors, Cusco A-arms and Tein CS coilovers.

Needless to say, BigBro GS wanted some new toys as well.

Just to keep things fair, I decided to get a new set of shoes for Big Bro GS this weekend.

Thanks to Uncle Bob (SoCalSC4) for the hook up on the HRE’s and keeping a secret for such a long time and to Uncle Brandon at the TireRack for getting me the first set of these tires, just released in these sizes for the first time this week.

Details:
Rims – HRE 841 R 20 x 9 Front, 20 x 11 Rear, Polished barrels inside and out. Clear coated inside barrel. Brushed centers with clear coat.

Tires – Michelin Pilot Sport 2, 255/30 Front , 295 / 25 Rear

This is the THIN SET UP on 20’s, cause I like riding on rubber bands !

The ride is amazingly quiet and smooth. This can only be attested to the great work that Michelin has done in designing these tires.

So without further adieu, here’s some new family photos:

These next two shots Baby IS has been checking out on Big Bro for a long time already.

Needless to say, as all those with a 2 Lexi family know, when one gets a new toy, the other can’t be left out. Just installed this weekend, were some Stop Techs for Baby IS, courtesy of Uncle Todd at TM Engineering.

Here’s a parting shot. Thanks to Jawnthen who took all the pics today. I can never take as good a pics as him.

Hope ya’ll enjoy our family photos.

Baby IS has been complaining lately of how Big Bro has been leaving her at the stop light all too often.

I hear mom is looking to fix that problem.

Hmmm . . . You know what this is leading to don’t you ??

Stay Tuned

Very very nice family pictures lol.
The wheels are very clean and set the car off just right. Did the IS always have HRE's or did you guys buy them together??

Just flawless looking...I'm a bolt guy myself but the no bolts on 20's makes up for not haveing them. Just very aggressive with the Red calipers and Wider stance yet Clean and Classy with the choice of brushed centers for that alpine silver which i always felt is the best choice for alpine silver. i'm glad someone out there besides myself loves the rubberband look ...Huge congrats. now get that other stuff installed already

Thumbs up

Very beautiful pictures indeed!! Both cars are just stunning!!!!! I have also heard some great things about the PS2 tires and might consider getting them as my next set after my S03's are worn. Do you have any rubbing with the 255-30-20 up front? I have 285's in my rear and always wanted to go wider to a 295 but was not sure if I would start rubbing.............nonetheless I assume going with a 30 size tire up front and 25 in the rear should be fine.
