I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't drive it at all...with a car that tricked out i'd be scared to get chips on the front end...or even get bird ***** on that paint job...that rx-7 is definitely one of the nicest i've seen in North America...top 5 definitely...

Way to go AUTOMAN I personally think those judges need to get their eyes checked. You should have never been in their class but anyway way I can go on but I'll leave it at that GOOD LUCK with the rest of your show season

I have been in the show scene for a number of years and all I can tell you is that there are a lot of people who don;t know **** and are posing a judges. They have no clue and it certainly seems as though the judges at Automan's show were completely clueless!

That RX-7 is Tremendous and clearly should have beaten the pants off of Smurfette's Talon. Anyone with a clue can clearly see the quality of paint, detail work, high-end mods etc on the
RX-7. Its not even close b/w the cars. Unfortunately, all too many "judges" - I use this term very loosely as thery have no clue - are into the retarded and gaudy mods in paint, kits etc. Its supposed to be more about fit and finish, clean lines etc.

B/c of the ****ty judgin out at many shows, the show promoters have , over the past couple of years, increasingly chosen to go with official judges who are paid but know what the hell they are doing. When bad judging happens people get pissed-off when they get jobbed or robbed at shows and the promoters don;t want disgruntled competitors, they want the best to win. No politics, no warped understanding of what it means to truly have a show car, just have the best car win.

Hope to see the more professionalism in judging wave continue.

Ted
