Cool what to use HELP Lower

What about this set up. H & R claims a 1.4" drop in the front and 1.3" drop in the rear.

Does any one out there have this and if so is there a lot of space between the tire and fender and is there any rubbing ?

Eibach or H & R or what ?

Suggestions please .......................

How much do you want to spend here if money is no issue forget the springs and go straight to coilovers you'll be gald you did it first instead of springs and shocks.

I had the H&R for a while there is still a space and there is no rubbing. The only way you are gonna lower it enough so there is no space is with coilovers.

Here is a photo, I think it was about 2 fingers.

Coilovers are a bit out of my price range right know so springs are the cheaper alternative.

Morris thanks for the picture. I have my GS on 20" wheels so the gap should be a bit less between the tire and fender.

Does anyone have that set up ( H & R ) with 20" wheels and if so what is the ride like ?

What shocks are you using ?

I have the Eibach / Bilstein combo on since I bought the car.
Have over 30K miles on them and love them.
Two finger gap sounds right.
No rubbing.

Don't go with H&R. For some reason, the *** end of most cars sags with them installed. I had the same problem with my old Maxima, and from the looks of these pictures, it's an issue on the GS.

ITs just the picture there was no sag when I had them in. It was about 2 fingers front and back. If you want better pictures I can post them.

I have h&r springs but my suggestion is to go with the coilcover because you might need to change your stock shocks soon because it can't handle the drop. It might cause you more money to do the shock later on , cost of labor is high. By the time you change your shocks too
it would be close to the price of coilcover so save up, do the right thing. It happen to me lol....
or change the spring and shock the same time because I did not do it cause i thought my shocks was good but it wasn't and by the time I found out my shock was bad it was too late ,pay double the labor to do it again..
