Very beautiful wheels. I also cant wait to see these mounted. Glad you finally got them and also glad to see the news that JP might have the US market straightened out soon. There are a few products I would really like

jp doesn't mean good wheels. works make wheels for jp anyway. the wheels are cast, not forged. i am not sure about they being easy to bend though. works have pretty strong wheel constructions

and personally i dont think they are hub centric

Work makes them? I thought OZ did. Unless OZ makes them too.

there are two lines of scaras, one made in japan by works, and the other made by oz

and the oz ones are like tons more expensive

Hey guys. Well, you know when you really want to get things done and SOMETHING always has to go wrong? Well, yup, happened last night. Nothing major, but on the last spring install one of the freakin' spring compressors cross threaded and siezed. Last one is at the shop now, and should be back here any minute now. I'll post pics today. I did a test fit on the rears and oh my! Looks sweet!

Rominl is right. From what I know thes Scara Japans are made by Work and are spun cast, and not hubcentric ( I have the rings). The Scara OZ's are obvisouly made by OZ and are forged. Don't worry, I'll be careful! Stay tuned...

Yes and no. It's true if we're talking about 1 piece forged rims, and false if we're talking about 1 piece gravity cast rims. So really it depends on the particular rim and how it's manufactured.

I know it's dirty, scratches, windshield is cracked...ok, ok, ok
Well, it looks lower in person, and is exactly what I wanted in ride height...
Screw it, you guys don't care about any of that, so here's the pics.

If any one knows how to move the pics to this thread, please do. Oh, and check out what kind of rubber I got wrapped around those rims.
