Yes you read right. My dealership sent me cookies in a wood box with 6 different types of package-wrapped cookies. Anyone purchase a new car and get this from their dealership? I have my suspicions that a survey may be coming in the mail soon asking me to rate my purchasing experience. So this is their way of trying to butter me up for a good rating. But I like the fact that I got cookies from my dealership. Odd but a very nice gesture overall. So has anyone else gotten this type of gesture from their dealership?

When we bought our LS we got a gold colored tin of chocolate from our dealership - very nice. When I bought mine (different dealership) I didn't get anything 
but a wonderful RX
...but yes, the surveys did come pouring in and they came with money ($1 bill to fill them out and return

When I got my GS the dealership sent me two 1/18th scale diecast models of the GS400.. One in Silver and the other one in Black.. Of course a week later the survey came..
Can't wait to see what I get when the SC arrives..
A friend of mine who bought his LS at another dealership they sent him 2 Hockey tickets as thanks for the purchase.. Great to see that other Lexus dealers across North America take care of their customers!
BTW GS430 GUY how did the cookies taste..

My Dealer did not give me any cookies. But they had an all you can eat Italian Food Buffet when I was there one day. They also made it up to me when my tire gauge disappeared at the dealers and they gave me $60.00 for it. I picked the same one up on sale at Sears for $20.00. They also replaced all five of my 17" Tires with new ones when I had cupping of the tires after only 6000 miles. They even took a couple of door dents out for free. If Lexus gives the cookies to the car dealers I now know why my salesman was so fat.
So I wish I got the cookies but I think I got a sweet deal anyway.

Sounds like you've got a good dealer. It took a little work for the dealer to replace my tires for free (it helped that they backed into my beloved GS with an LX450!).
I bought my GS in South Carolina. A week or two later, I got a tin of cookies IN THE MAIL.

2SAVVY, you got stuff from kenshaw?? THOSE BASTARDS!! we dind't get ANYTHING!! when we bought our jag we got a die-cast model of it... but i had to go out and buy those 2 things my self....

The cookies weren't bad. They were shortbread cookies from a bakery on the South Shore of LI, right near the dealership. Tempting to eat them all and break my diet
