Default Daytime Running Lights

I did the thread search but couldnt find a solution.. if someone can help...

Anyway to disconnect or deactivate the daytime running lights on a 03 GS3? I dont remember how I did it or how it was done.. but on my old 99 GS4 I was able to disconnect it without setting off any warning lights. But none of my local stereo shops have any idea how it can be done, they mentioned disconnecting the light fuse but im worried this would set off warnings. any other way? i just personally dont like the daytime lights on all the time, prefer them off and never want them turned on. i already changed out the small bulb in the housing so that the companion night time lights match the HIDs, do i need to change the high beam bulb to get it to look better?

It can be a dealer programmable option. Why don't you ask them on your next service and let us know.

Just unplug the harness going to it? I accidently forgot to plug it back in for a week and didn't set off anything.

LOL. It is one of those grass always greener thing. I actually want DRL but my 98 does not come with it. I don't mind the DRL but wanted the curcuitry for something else.
