Big Throttle??

this is what i have been asking mo to get! where did you find this? how much is it? does it still you the electronic throttle controll? it will be really good to use with the SRT intake
i think it rams more air into the engine...
mo said a larger throttle body would be about 5-6 HP

Just Be Careful!
Sasha & Globe - While it's true that the larger throttle body will allow more air into the engine, unless U can enrichen the fuel curve accordingly ( with a piggyback ECU like the one Mo offers with the HFI or some other programmable form of engine management ), then just the addition of the throttle body probably won't help much. Kinda depends on how maxed out the factory Lexus ECU is - might be some additional fuel/spark reserve built in? It might be like the RMM intake - it allows more air to enter the engine but w/o additional fuel, all mine did was slow the GS4 down because of a lean condition. Don't really keep up with what Mo offers for the GS3 but I'd stick with what he offers, unless he says that this throttle body will work with the SRT stuff.

<--- skeptical
GlobeCLK,
I don't know... about using that throttle body. I wouldn't mess with the intake manifold especially without expert air-fuel fine-tuning. The factory system is practically optimized for all around performance. I am also not too sure if the factory diagnostic system will overlook that drastic jump in the intake of air... vein pressure controller w/ 330 injector controller?
I'd rather take my chances with 100 shot of NOS.

Mean Gene:
Will some AFC like APEXi S-AFC change the air/fuel settings to optimize this?
rather NOS than throttle body?
just shows how risky that could be!
thanks man. Gotta find alternatives.

I think that if we asked mo to calibrate the ECU for EVEN more fuel and spark to match this product he would, and we would get another 5 or 6 RWHP mated with the intake, so a good 30HP gain at the flywheel. for those of us with an exhaust, we'd be creeping up on GS400 territory pretty fast.... 270HP..... unorthadox cams..... pulleys.... sorry...
hey gene, is venom making a kit for the 300 too? would the 400 work with the 300 minus two injectors?
