Engine typically runs quicker when the ECU memory is erased and you have a clean slate. Several ways to do it, you can pull the fuse for the ECU so as not to foul up seat memory, clock etc or just disconnect the neg battery terminal for about a 1/2 hour.

I typically detach the negative battery (black) cable for the night....after re-connecting....rev the engine for a few minutes.....shut off and then start it up again and take it for a spin. It should feel better.
